La telecamera è situata sul tetto sovrastante il locale della centralina della stazione meteo e della stazione di radioamatore I1GXV, a circa 60 km a nord ovest di Milano. E' puntata ad est, verso la sponda lombarda meridionale del Lago Maggiore, a circa 4 km dal suo termine e dall'inizio del fiume Ticino, a circa 300 m dalla riva piemontese, ad un'altezza di circa 220 m slm. La telecamera è una Reolink RLC-410 da 5MP gestita dal software IPTimelapse.

The camera is located on the roof covering the room where the meteo station board is installed, the same of I1GXV 's ham radio station shack, at about 60 km / 40 miles north-west from Milan. It is pointed east, looking across the Lake Maggiore towards the southern shore of Lombardia region at about 4 km / 2.5 miles from its end and where Ticino rivers starts. The camera is about 1/5 mile back from the shore of Piedmont region and at 720ft above sea level. It is a Reolink RLC-410-5MP managed by IPTimelapse software.

In ottemperanza alla vigente normativa, i fotogrammi realizzati attraverso la webcam sono estratti con una qualità degradata e vengono effettuati da una distanza tale da non permettere il riconoscimento dei tratti somatici dei soggetti; risultano prive della possibilità di utilizzare la funzione zoom e non consentono il brandeggio.
